Blackpool Seaside Awards 2023
The Seaside Awards are an annual recognition program that celebrates the best beaches and coastal destinations in the country. In 2023, the program will be held once again to recognize those beaches that have achieved the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and sustainability.
The awards are open to all beaches across the country, and any beach can enter for a chance to win. The judges will be looking for beaches that have a high standard of water quality, are clean and litter-free, and have excellent facilities for visitors.
To enter the awards, beaches must complete an application form and provide evidence of their commitment to sustainability and environmental management. This may include evidence of recycling programs, energy-efficient facilities, and efforts to reduce water usage.
Three of Blackpool’s prestigious beaches have been granted Seaside Awards, it was revealed today.
The national awards, announced by Keep Britain Tidy, have rewarded Blackpool South, Blackpool Central, and Bispham for their high standards of beach management, as well as their nearby facilities and water quality.
